This logic board for the MacBook Pro Core i7 (Late 2016 Retina Display, Touch Bar, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) has a 6th-generation Skylake 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 processor (6700HQ), with 4 independent cores, 16 GB of 2133 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM (which cannot be upgraded later), 250GB of PCIe-based flash storage, and 2 graphics cards: 1x AMD Radeon Pro 450 with 2GB of memory and 1x Intel HD Graphics 530 sharing memory with the system. Only the logic board will be supplied, together with the module responsible for Touch ID functionality. These machines have an auto-boot feature that must be disabled before any work is performed on the machine. By default, this feature is disabled on all logic boards before they are removed and must be re-enabled once installed in a machine. To disable auto-boot, the following command must be run via Terminal and will require an administrator account to do so: sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00 — once the repair is complete it can be re-enabled with the following command: sudo nvram AutoBoot=%03 — both commands are case-sensitive. To confirm that auto-boot is disabled, the machine should be fully powered off and then the lid opened. The battery icon should flash for a few seconds and the machine should not boot. If it boots, then auto-boot was not disabled and the command should be run again. The Touch ID function is tied to the main logic board, so Touch ID and the power button are sold together with the logic board. This is a device highly sensitive to static electricity and replacement should not be attempted without proper experience and antistatic precautions. If the heatsink is removed from the logic board, it must be resealed adequately once the new board is installed, to ensure the MacBook Pro does not overheat. Provided with a 3-month warranty.
