Spyder Checkr Video is a color reference table for use with video vectorscopes, waveform monitors and professional video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve®, Adobe Premiere® and Final Cut Pro® to ensure accurate video color and exposure.

Spyder Checkr Video allows users to color calibrate one or more camera and lens combinations to help ensure correct color performance at the start of filming, in addition to streamlining the post-production workflow.

Spyder Checkr Video - Feature Description

Color pattern card

The color pattern card uses our new patent-pending design and helps make color correction easier to understand using vector scopes. The color card is developed for the Rec.709 color space.

New vector chart

Each color has two patches at different saturation levels (75% and 100%). Adjust the hue and saturation levels for each color to match the frames.

Traditional color patch card

It includes the same colors as the Color Pattern Card, giving users another workflow option for convenience.

Traditional vector diagram

The traditional color card creates a "star" pattern on a vectorscope with the 2 saturation levels aligned.

Grayscale card

This card is designed to give accurate benchmarks for both exposure and contrast levels. Contains (2) 11-step grayscale bars, glossy white, 50% gray and black.

Grayscale Card - Waveform

When the grayscale card is isolated, the waveform display produces the pattern on the right. The 3 large bars provide a quick reference for exposure, while the stepped pattern helps avoid clipping issues.
